Weekend
I am sure many people agree with me that weekend passed really fast especially with people with young kids. Last Sat, i had to attend a "red-carpet glamour" wedding on Sat, so i need time to prep.
Sort of have a pact with hubby tt he would take care of Princess on Sat while i take over on Sun. Our plan for sat was like this, picked up my parents-in-laws in TP, went gymboree class at habourfront and have lunch there. Shop ard Vivocity and then hubby and bb would go back with in-laws to TP. It went on quite well but bb was quite canky at class. Was discussing with hubby the other day that we prob wont continue with this class any more as she seems uninterested. I went back to Hougang Central to style my hair. Before that, I went over to Campass point to buy a pair of squeaking shoes for my niece. She's been envying my gal's squeaking shoes for a while. She even attempted to wear them and have to be stopped by my mum. So i decided to get her, her own.
Was wearing my ROM/tea ceremony dress that nite. Not bad leh, still able to squeeze into a 5-yr old dress. At first, i tot it was too grand but my fren insisted that she wants everyone to come in gowns and coats, so i guess i wont be over-dressed. The nite was great with me catching up with my ex-collegues. Most of us are with competitors now. In this small software industry with so many acquisition, we are all part of bigger MNC now. Didnt get home till 12++am...was so tired
Sunday, i went to pick up my niece and had breakfast together. It's mid-autumn festival and the children cant wait to play with fire and sparklers. It was drizzling initially but when the skies were clearer, we all went to Punggol Park. It's packed with pp and families with lanterns and sparklers. I think the kids have fun!

Musings..
I finally know the difference between GP and PD beside the alphabet "G" and "D". In my previous post, i mentioned that Princess is sick and we brought her to see a GP after our regular PD went on leave. Cost = $18. Medicine seemed effective but we finished that last Fri and the symptoms started up again. Baby couldnt sleep at nite with her nose all stuff up.
The next day, we brought her to see the regular PD at Hougang mall. We showed her the medicine and she felt tt it's too strong. In the end, she gave us a range of medicine as well as antibiotics as the flu has been going on for abt a week. Cost = $95!!!! OMG! luckily my company will reimburse me the full sum, if not, i will definitely go the GP again :P
Just noticed that my gal is really close to the maid. Last nite, she actually ran to her for comfort when she fell. Heart felt funny and heavy. I know it's inevitable and i have been trying to spend as much time with her whenever i am home. But how can 2 hours a day fight with spending 12 hours together daily? i am sure it's common woes of working mothers.
She's back to fusing at nite. Waking up at least once at nite for milk. I'm usually too tired to fight that and gave in to her demands. I know it's bad but it's easier just to give her the milk and she will fall back to sleep... Tired...

Princess is Sick....
Last weekend was packed with activities. I brought her myself alone to Gymboree as hubby needed to work. It's not too bad except tt she missed her nap earlier and after that she became a bit anti-social and refused to join in the group.
After the class, she fell asleep in the pram. I needed to get the Little swimmers from toyr'us, i went over to VivoCity. Boy, did i get distracted. I managed to get 2 tops and 2 bottoms from one shop. I must say, pushing a pram around a fitting room is very challenging. Hahahaaa.... so damaged wsa $100+++ not ex, rite?
That nite, we brought her to Fabian's nephew birthday party at my sis-in-law's condo. We were too excited to let her try the Little swimmers. So even tho the weather was quite cold, we brought her down to the pool to waddle. She loved it. But we paid for the price later....
On Sunday, i had a gathering with some old frens at my fren's place. It's huge with a swimming pool. Almost let her played in it but was drizzling. It was a good gathering where everyone catch up with each others' lives and my fren's younger daughter was so adorable with her big round eyes and Dora-alike hairstyle. Wat a pity that my gal has small eyes like her mummy.
Went to my mum's place after that... before i continue, i forgot to say that the reason why we bought the little swimmers was that we both took leave on Monday (since my mum will be away for 3 days' at genting) and we wanted to bring little princess to either Sentosa or downtown east. I even bought baby sunblock lotion. However, that evening, she puked. And that nite, she was really cranky and woke up every other hour. Luckily, both of us were not working on the following day. Next morn, she came down with a running nose and slight fever. There goes our plans :(
Tried to bring her to PD but her usual ones all went on leave. Can you believe it!!!!
In the end, we brought her to see a GP that my sis used to bring her kids. It's a long wait but really cheap!!!
She's better now, but now, she tends to vomit (like Merlion) during meal time. Sometimes she will get choked and after tt, she will vomit out the food plus wat she has taken so far. I prob will bring her to see a PD next time to check....
