HK Trip

Yup, some of you have seen the pics. We have went to Hong Kong and back in one piece. It was the first travel tt we have with Athena, so was all excited. More of the fact that we are bringing her than the trip itself.

It's her first plane ride and we are all excited to see her reaction. Luckily in both cases, taking off (to and fro), we made her milk so that the suckling action will not caused ear block and discomfort for her. Her reaction? Bored..... hahahaaa.. cos she's confined to either the bassinet or the seat. It doesnt suited her pointed backside (meaning, she cant sit still). We had a hard time entertaining her and making her nap. Luckily, the flight is only abt 3 hours. I dun think she's able to last any longer than that.

The whole trip, we were very "tourist-like". Cos' i brought my parents and i tried to bring them to all the common places of interest so that they can tell their frens tt they have been to HK. So we went, "Wang - da - sian", "Da-yu-shan" and the peak etc. We also go temple street and "nue-ren" street to walk ard. Food is great, shopping will have been great too. Too bad, i have a bored toodler ard and she cant stand shopping for too long!!! I have to give those outlets a miss ... pity... :(

Everyone asked whether Athena enjoyed the trip. I think she enjoyed the hotel room and bath-tub most. Hahahaaa... she will be walking ard the room, picking up her shoes or trying to wear our shoes and looking herself at the mirror. Yes, the verdict is out, she's a vain-pot like her mummy.... She bathe in the bath-tub and since it's something different, we always had a hard time getting her to come out of her bath. She enjoyed it so much. Hence, i told hubby next time, we dun have to travel far. Just book a hotel room in Sentosa, my gal will love it. Save $$ hor...

She's quite friendly and waved to all the sales pp in HK stores. They loved her and she entertained them. Only regret is, we didnt bring a pram. Dun asked why as it is a long story....next trip, taking coach to Genting... challenging
